PAOLA GIOLO

After graduating from the University of Venice with a Master's degree in Oriental Languages, I moved to the United States to pursue a Master’s degree in International and Intercultural Communication at the University of Denver. After Graduate school, I started working for Quark, Inc., the maker of QuarkXPress, as a translator and later as Project Manager of the Internet division of Worldwide Product Services. After 6 years, I moved to New York City where I worked at Siemens as Translation Services Project Manager and later at Bowne & Co. as Translation Services Project Manager for about 3 years. Moved back to Denver and founded my own consulting company. I worked as a freelance Language Consultant for about 3 years. In 2008, I moved to Italy to work for CrossGap (now Jonckers) as a Project Manager and a year later was promoted to Global Project Manager. I am currently working at Jonckers in Bologna, Italy.
